The problem with 'good serial numbers' as a concept is that what constitutes a 'bad Bach', or 'a Bach' is so frequently mis-understood. Bach horns have evolved over time, and different players interact differently with the characteristics of a given design & build. It's like a relationship, you have to find a partner you fit with. Vintage 1990's Bach Stradivarius Model 37 bore ML Serial number 386977. There is some lacquer wear in various places and evidence of a couple of dents and some creasing on the bell which I have tried to show in the pictures. This is all superficial and does not affect the playing characteristics of the instrument at all. Bach Stradivarius Model 37, Serial #398049 (1992-1993)-Silver Very clean example of the classic 37. Silver-plated, with no plating loss. Solid, clean pre-strike Elkhart model from the early 90’s. Serviced plays very well; no dents or dings. Comes in original case in good shape, with two mutes, a Tom Crown and an Alessi by Leblance.
